We are excited to announce the promotion of Jill Kovach to president of our organization’s construction division. Kovach, who most recently served as the vice president of construction, will be responsible for leading NUTEC’s daily operations specific to design build, construction and facility management services.
Kovach replaces past president Steve Jamison, who served in the role since the launch of NUTEC in 1998. Jamison, who has been named president-emeritus will continue in a key support role.
Kovach, who has been a member of the NUTEC team for six years has diverse experience that spans her twenty-year career and includes leadership roles in design, construction, and consulting. She holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Mount Saint Mary’s University.
“Jill has been a tremendous asset to our organization,” says Jamison. “I’m thrilled to see her take this next step in her career and excited about where the construction division of NUTEC will go under her leadership.”
Before joining NUTEC, Jamison was president of H.B. Alexander & Son in Harrisburg. He has been very active in the non-profit community in central Pennsylvania, serving on the boards of directors of the York County Economic Development Corporation, York-Adams Area Council of The Boy Scouts of America and The York County Heritage Trust. He also served as a member of the York College Collegiate Council, The Cultural Alliance of York County, Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) and is Past President of The Rotary Club of York East.
“Steve has been here from the very beginning,” says Kovach. “He brought extensive construction knowledge enabling NUTEC’s design services to expand to a full-service design-build and construction practice with great success over the last twenty-two years. Everyone who has worked for NUTEC has benefitted from Steve’s experience and guidance. He has helped create a strong future for us and I am excited for this next chapter and the continued growth and success of NUTEC.”
